Product Information

A complete panel consisting of 20 tubes, manifold and stainless steel frame for installation on to sloping roofs - fixings are available separately. For ground or flat roof installations, an additional support frame is also available.

Solar energy is absorbed by the black inner surface of the borosilicate (Pyrex) tube. A vacuum exists between this and the outer glass wall, trapping heat inside. The only means of escape is through the copper “heat pipe” inside which transfers heat up to a manifold housed inside the stainless steel header. Fluid is pumped through the manifold transferring heat to either a solar coil inside a hot water cylinder or a heat exchanger on a swimming pool system.

The tubes are extremely durable when installed, however are delicate to transport. Therefore this product is only available for personal collection from Northampton.
